ISL can email .pdf certificates if the customer requests that format.\u00a0 If you prefer this service, please let us know when you set up you account with us.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h4>How do I set up an account?<\/h4>\r\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">When you contact us to set up an account, we will request certain information. Please refer to our<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indianastandards.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/New-Customer-Documents-2022-Rev-6-fillable-1.pdf\">New Customer Documents. <\/a><span style=\"color: #333333;\">We will need a contact name, mailing\/shipping address, type of cert requested, form of payment, and any other information pertinent to your calibration needs.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h4>Is a purchase order required?<\/h4>\r\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">We highly recommend that our customers provide a purchase order with each order.\u00a0 If that is not possible, the customer must complete the<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.indianastandards.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/ISL-Customer-Credit-Application.pdf\">ISL-Customer-Credit-Application<\/a> <span style=\"color: #333333;\">and submit it with the instrument for calibration.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h4>Is an RMA required?<\/h4>\r\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">No. We track instruments via our issued test number and your purchase order.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h4>How do I obtain a quote? What information do I need to provide?<\/h4>\r\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">You can get a quote by contacting us by phone at (317)787-6578), by email, or by filling out our<\/span>\u00a0<a title=\"Contact\/Request Quote\" href=\"https:\/\/www.indianastandards.com\/?page_id=194\">online quote form<\/a>. T<span style=\"color: #333333;\">o get the most timely and accurate quote, we ask that the customer supply us with the Manufacturer, Model Number, and Nomenclature. If a manufacturer or model number are not available, we ask that you at least provide the range and tolerance of the instrument.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">If you are asking for a quote for on-site service, technician time in the quote.\u00a0 For further information, please<\/span>\u00a0<a title=\"Contact\/Request Quote\" href=\"https:\/\/www.indianastandards.com\/?page_id=53\">contact us<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n<h4>What is your standard turn-around time? Are there expediting options?<\/h4>\r\n<p><em><strong>By appointment only<\/strong><\/em>. <span style=\"color: #333333;\">Call (317-787-6578) or<\/span>\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:service@indianastandards.com\">e-mail<\/a>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #333333;\">to arrange an appointment. If you have an emergency, by all means let us know and we will make every effort to accommodate your needs.\u00a0 There are expediting options available. There is a 3-day turn-around option available for a<strong>\u00a050%<\/strong>\u00a0charge on top of the original calibration cost, and a 1-day turn-around option for a<strong>\u00a0100%<\/strong>\u00a0charge. To make sure things go as smoothly as possible, rush jobs are to be made by appointment only. We also recommend that any expediting be specified on the customer\u2019s purchase order.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h4>What are your shipping capabilities?<\/h4>\r\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Customers have several shipping options:<br \/><\/span><\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">ISL can receive and ship by UPS and Fedex<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Local instruments can be shipped via a local courier (at additional cost)<\/span><\/li>\r\n<li><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Customers can drop off and pick up at our location<\/span><\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<h4>What happens if my instrument fails?<\/h4>\r\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">When an instrument fails, the customer is charged for the time used to perform the calibration.\u00a0 This will come with a before &amp; after readings failed certificate.\u00a0\u00a0 If your instrument fails, we will contact you to discuss further options for replacing the item\/repairing it or sending it back to you.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h4>How do I establish the appropriate calibration interval?<\/h4>\r\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Initial calibration intervals are established by using the recommendations of the customer\u2019s quality department, the equipment manufacturer, the METRL publication for all M&amp;TE and measurement standards, or an otherwise reasonable interval based on engineering evaluation.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h4>Do you send a reminder for when a calibration is due?<\/h4>\r\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Yes. ISL sends out a recall notice to customers at the beginning of each month listing each instrument due for calibration in the next two months and each instrument\u2019s due date.<\/span><\/p>\r\n<h4>What are the ISL capabilities for on-site calibrations?<\/h4>\r\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">These capabilities are specified on our<\/span>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.indianastandards.com\/?page_id=135\">On-site Services<\/a><span style=\"color: #333333;\"> page. Be prepared to provide us with as much detailed information on your instruments as possible, including manufacturer, model number, nomenclature, tolerance, and\/or range.\u00a0 We will use that information to provide a quote and schedule your on-site calibration.
