Indiana Standards Laboratory’s flow department can handle calibration of liquid flow, gas flow, and air flow.
The Liquid Flow Department can calibrated water flows here at Indiana Standards Laboratory (in-house). If you have a flowmeter that uses hydraulic fluid we can perform the calibration on-site using your system to generate the flow and our precision flowmeters to measure it.
The Gas Flow Department can calibrate using any non-explosive gas or gas mixture. For example: Nitrogen, Oxygen, Argon, Carbon Dioxide, Helium, Argon / Oxygen Mixture. Special gas mixtures will require a setup charge and could take two weeks to have the gas manufactured.
The Air Flow Department can test Air Flow(SCFM) and Air Velocity(FPM).
